One of country music's brightest stars and country music's hottest television series are coming together to create one of the year's most exciting country concert tours. Arista Nashville recording artist Brad Paisley announced today that he has been tapped by CMT: Country Music Television's live daily series, CMT MOST WANTED LIVE, for a 44-city concert tour kicking off Sept. 19 in Phoenix and concluding Dec. 14 in Las Vegas. Each tour stop will feature various opening acts from among today's favorite chart toppers including Steve Azar, Chris Cagle, Tammy Cochran, Andy Griggs, Steve Holy, Shannon Lawson, Pinmonkey, Rascal Flatts, Tommy Shane Steiner, and Darryl Worley.

The Grand Ole Opry is pleased to announce that country music stars the Dixie Chicks will be performing on Saturday, August 10.

With an aggressive touring schedule followed by a self-imposed hiatus, the Dixie Chicks haven't had the opportunity to perform on the Opry stage since 1998. Fittingly, the Dixie Chicks will perform their brand new single, "Long Time Gone" on both of the Opry shows (6:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. CT) that evening. The song is from the forthcoming CD, Home, due in stores August 27. The group's first performance can be seen that evening on GRAND OLE OPRY LIVE on CMT: Country Music Television at 7:00 p.m. CT.
